FAQ - Web Enhancements

The Minnesota College Savings Plan website has been enhanced to help make managing your 529 plan account even easier!

Security at TFI is one of our core commitments to our investors. We have enhanced the Minnesota College Savings Plan website to provide the security you need and the peace of mind you want. Click here to access your account and try out the new features.

  • Online Withdrawals - You may request a withdrawal from your account online that will be sent via Automated Clearing House* to your bank account, as long as your banking information has been on file with your account for at least 30 days and your address has not changed within the last 30 days. You may continue to request a withdrawal by using the Withdrawal Form (PDF, 103KB). Non-qualified withdrawals are subject to income taxes and the federal additional 10% tax.
  • e-Statements - If you would like to reduce paperwork and do something positive for the environment, then you may want to sign up to receive your statements electronically.  Click here to learn more and decide if e-Statements are right for you.
  • User ID access - Instead of using your Social Security Number to sign in, you will now be asked to create your own secure User ID and Password to access all of your accounts when you sign in.
  • Online Rebalances - Move existing contributions and any earnings into another investment option once per calendar year, or upon transfer of funds to a Minnesota College Savings Plan account for a different beneficiary.
  • View Pending Contributions - You are now able to view on-line contributions that have not yet posted to your Minnesota College Savings Plan account.
  • Establish or Change Automatic Contribution Plans - Invest regularly through this feature. Avoid the hassle of mailing a check each month.
